By accessing or using ExoAtlas.com (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use this website or any associated services.

2. Use of the Site

ExoAtlas is an educational platform providing tools for celestial data visualization and astronomical calculations. It is intended for non-commercial, personal, academic, and hobbyist use only. You agree not to use the Site or its content:

  • For any commercial, military, or mission-critical purposes;
  • To upload or distribute malicious code;
  • To violate any local, national, or international law;
  • To interfere with the functionality or accessibility of the site, webhost, or domain name service (DNS).

ExoAtlas LLC reserves the right to restrict access to users found to be in violation of these terms.

ExoAtlas and all associated tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

4. Limitation of Liability

Use of the Site is at your own risk. No oral or written advice or information obtained through the Site shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein. By accessing this site, or using ExoAtlas LLC tools and applications, you are agreeing that to the fullest extent permitted by law, ExoAtlas LLC shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damages, or costs arising from the use of the Site, including but not limited to:

  • Use or misuse of orbital element data;
  • Reliance on celestial calculations;
  • Technical issues, downtime, or data loss.

5. Data Sources and Intellectual Property

The orbital element data, ephemerides, and astronomy datasets used on ExoAtlas.com are aggregated from public domain sources (e.g., NASA, JPL, Space-Track.org). While we strive to maintain accurate data, it may not always be current and should not be relied upon for navigation, mission planning, or any real-world application requiring precision.


Attribution is provided where possible, and ExoAtlas LLC does not claim ownership over NASA or other public domain assets.

6. Acceptable Use of Tools

Users may interact with and share tool outputs (e.g., orbit visualizations, time conversions) for educational, academic, or personal purposes. Any automated use of the tools, including but not limited to bots or scraping scripts, is prohibited without prior authorization.


You may not:

  • Use outputs commercially or redistribute tools in part or whole;
  • Embed tools or scrape data for inclusion in paid or monetized services;
  • Imply official endorsement by NASA, ExoAtlas LLC, or any organization, agency, or commercial entity.

All original code, design, and functionality of ExoAtlas.com are the intellectual property of ExoAtlas LLC unless otherwise noted.


You may not copy, modify, or distribute site content without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
